HAT Global Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Scribe / Chart Prep professional to support healthcare providers by preparing patient charts and assisting with medical documentation.
In this role, you will review available patient information before scheduled visits, organize relevant chart information, and prepare the documentation needed to support an efficient provider workflow.
Following provider visits, you will assist with preparing and documenting medical notes based on the information and workflow provided by the healthcare team.
The ideal candidate is highly attentive to detail, comfortable working with medical terminology, and able to handle sensitive healthcare information with professionalism and care.
What You'll Do
- Review patient charts and available information before scheduled provider visits.
- Prepare relevant chart information to help providers efficiently review patient history and visit details.
- Organize and prepare documentation according to established clinical workflows.
- Assist with medical note preparation before and after provider visits.
- Document information accurately and consistently based on the information provided by the healthcare team.
- Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date patient chart information within the appropriate systems.
- Follow established documentation standards and workflows.
- Protect patient information and follow applicable privacy and confidentiality requirements.
- Communicate with internal team members when clarification or additional information is needed.
- Complete assigned documentation tasks accurately and within established turnaround times.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in medical scribing, chart preparation, medical documentation, or a related healthcare support role is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and common healthcare documentation practices.
- Strong written English skills with excellent grammar, spelling, and attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately review and organize healthcare information.
- Strong typing, documentation, and computer skills.
- Ability to follow detailed workflows and documentation guidelines.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work with sensitive patient information professionally and confidentially.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a healthcare support team.
