HAT Global Partners is seeking a professional, empathetic, and detail-oriented Patient Communications Specialist to support communication between U.S. healthcare practices and their patients.

In this role, you will help ensure patients receive clear, timely, and professional communication throughout their interactions with the healthcare practice.

You may assist with appointment-related communication, patient inquiries, follow-ups, reminders, and other non-clinical communication needs while ensuring every interaction reflects the professionalism and care expected in a healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who is patient, organized, professional, and comfortable interacting with people from different backgrounds.

What You'll Do

• Communicate professionally with patients through approved communication channels.
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide appropriate non-clinical information based on established practice guidelines.
• Assist with appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling-related communication, and follow-up.
• Maintain a friendly, professional, and patient-focused tone during every interaction.
• Listen carefully to patient concerns and direct clinical or specialized questions to the appropriate healthcare team member.
• Follow established communication workflows and escalation procedures.
• Document patient communications and follow-up activities accurately.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure patient requests and communication needs are handled appropriately.
• Follow up on outstanding communication tasks and ensure appropriate closure.
• Protect patient information and maintain confidentiality in accordance with established privacy requirements.
• Maintain productivity, accuracy, and professional communication standards.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in patient communication, customer service, healthcare administration, or a related role is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and active-listening skills.
• Ability to communicate with patients in a professional, respectful, and compassionate manner.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document interactions.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple communication tasks and priorities effectively.
• Comfortable working with healthcare software, communication platforms, scheduling systems, and electronic records.
• Ability to follow established workflows, scripts, and escalation procedures.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information professionally and confidentially.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a healthcare support team.
